Dr. Erin Herring, VVC owner, is a board-certified internal medicine specialist, a certified veterinary acupuncturist, and is certified in Low-Stress Handling, and Reiki. She received her undergraduate degree at Duke University and her veterinary degree at North Carolina State University. She completed an internship, residency, and master's degree at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, and acupuncture training at the Chi Institute. Dr. Herring has received ultrasound training during her residency, as well as through the NAVC institute, and she has performed thousands of ultrasounds in her career.
